Our Mission

This is our first year as an official NPO and we are eager to make a difference. Some of our members have participated in the Embridge Ride to Conquer Cancer and cycled all the way to Quebec City to raise money for cancer. Over those 3 years they have raised over $7,500 alone for the cause. This organisation was founded under the realization that more could be done to ensure that even people who aren’t ready to take on a feat as large as the Cyclo-Defi, could chip in and participate in a cause that helps the community come together and make a difference.

There are people in need having to deal with a serious disease every day of their lives, fighting just for the right to live another day, and I believe in knowing that fact alone will open peoples minds and hearts to reach out and lend a helping hand. This help comes from something we overlook every day, takes no energy to do, and can end up saving lives. Give your empties to us and we will guarantee that every cent we raise will go straight to the cause.

Certificates will be posted online every year showing the exact amount donated, and we are working on making all this accessible online, including bank account statements to track all incoming and outgoing transactions so you can know exactly where your money is going. We also accept cash donations that give you the option of getting your own certificate with your name on it to keep as a souvenir.
